How they help —

Our friends provide invaluable partnerships and support.

Friends —

The partnerships and support the Friends of PARS provide, helps us to transform and make a difference in the lives of prisoners, released prisoners, deportees, at risk youth and their whānau.

The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers)

The Friends are devoted supporters of the valuable work PARS does. They give monetary, food and non-perishable donations, supporting many released prisoners and their whānau in times of financial hardship.

St David’s Presbyterian Church in Khyber Pass

Another strong supporter of PARS is the woman’s group at St David’s, who tirelessly hand-knit baby blankets, shawls, hats, booties and slippers for the babies of released prisoners and their whānau. The gift of a unique, one-off blanket has significant value to the whānau, as many have never received this type of individual, special gift before.

Chapman Tripp

Our friends at Chapman Tripp provide high quality legal services to PARS Inc on a pro bono basis. We are privileged to have such a supportive partner investing in Stronger Community and Contributing to New Zealand’s Economic Future themes, thereby helping the organisation to meet its objectives.
